Waterskiing on Windermere?

Have a look at White Cross Bay as well - I think their night or weekly rates are better than WMV. Im not sure on their trailer storage facilities though or how good the slip way is at low water levels.

We are berthed at WMV - it really is the only place on the lake that offers a mix of most things you need. Its missing the shop IMO as its a fair walk to Bowness for a pint of milk or a paper on a Sunday morning!

Thanks, we did go there and walk down to slip for a look, there seemed a lack of parking so not sure if they can accommodate my car and trailer, I was told slip is not very steep and not easy to use, i couldnt understand why there was a load of rocks right beside where you launch and jetty, it looked to me that they make their money from log cabins.
I would also try Low Wood as they had plenty of parking and I hired one of their boats for the day and found them to be very helpfull. The hotel over the road served good food aswell.

So I get home tonight and find a speeding notice from Cumbria police. I was apparently doing 46 in a 40 zone bypassing some god awful grey wet dreary place called Ings which just looked like some big petrol station. Whoopee doo, big deal...
Anyway, have decided Cumbria definitely doesn't want me....
