One of the bearings in my waterpump collapsed and after pulling it out to replace quickly realised that to strip the water pump down required not only several specialised tools and equipment but also was a little bit above the reach of DIY. A new pump from Volvo was piracy at around 900 euro and I felt a bit sick about it tbh. Anyway I asked around and after a recommendation sent it to SP Waterpumps in Warrington. 188 quid for a full refurb and it looks like new. BRAND NEW!! They even blasted it down, repainted it Volvo Green and replaced all internal parts and supplied a gasket for refitting. They did this in 3 days which is a quicker turnaround than buying direct.
