Waterproof glue.

Extraphen (Cascophen) is stated to be usable between 15-25 deg C. Would it cure, albeit more slowly, at lower temperatures, and would the bond strength be affected? I cannot see outdoor temperatures reaching this level.for some time. Is there another glue with similar qualities which would be usable at lower temps, perhaps even a bit cheaper?

Screwfix Polyurethane glue is excellent, no mixing and a 750ml bottle goes a long way. Toolstation do a version as well, just make sure that its D4 rated as I have seen some polurethane glues that are not. You need a longer cramp time in colder weather for the polyurethane, don`t know about cascophen.

Yep, would agree with that. I have pretty much standardised on Pu Glues for just about all my gluing jobs. I have never liked Cascophen. Pu glues do set eventually in the cold but if really cold take for ever. Even a little bit of warmth makes a huge difference.

The Elch that you have linked to has not performed the same as others I have used but would be good for laminates as it doesn't foam (at least mine doesn't). I keep that on one side now for those kind of jobs. If you have to buy mail order and can't ask for more info on handling properties then Balcotan is often available mail order and is totally reliable albeit a bit more expensive.
