The crimped bullet connectors in the electrics of my Mercury outboard have some nice clear waterproof covers that plug and unplug with the bullets.

I need to do some disconnectable 12V wiring in an environment subject to possible splashing with water and these things look like they might do the job. Anyone know if they are available in the UK?

I have done a brief search but I'm probably using the wrong jargon.

'Terminals' seems to be a word that brings up more links but no luck so far.
Vehicle Wiring Products was interesting but nothing suitable.
Heat shrink is another alternative but is semi-permanent.

RS have pretty much everything - worth a try. Good web-based catalogue.
Also worth a try would be Farnell - they also stock pretty much everything, but I find their website slow/difficult to navigate.

Maplin, Rapid and CPC are also good wide-range stockists, but not as wide range as the other two.

Lucar Covers from Maplins - squeeze a little silicon grease in to the covers to help seal them and protect the terminals.
