Waterproof clothing test

If I am out sailing and it's cold I wear my yellow hazard jacket (£24.ish) from work even when its hissing down along with pvc type trousers under a tenner (also yellow and from work ) but don't forget to wear them outside of yur wellies.
For heavens sake whose looking at you when it pi$$ing down!!! , some of you spend as much on clothes as I can afford on the whole of my boating budget

Do you need oilies down there?

Still have plastic ones from when I professionally fished. Very little water comes across my yacht deck really so my foul weather gear is mainly for warmth.
