Waterproof Bluetooth Speakers

Is there a reason you don't want a proper built in speaker? That looks like it would get in the way while sailing to me, and will need charging etc.

I want to be able to play podcasts and music from my iKit. Also might prove useful elsewhere.

A good reason to want to use the iToys but there are car radios which could do similar for less money. My boat has a £50 JVC stereo which has full ipod/iphone integration and a remote control. I could easily fit an outside speaker quite cheaply if my boat was big enough to justify it.
I'm not saying don't go for one of these, only you know your requirements but just make sure you've thought through the options and whether charging will be convenient on board and how long the journeys will be.

I was trawling ebay / amazon with the same thoughts at the weekend
- Could be used in the cabin or in the cockpit
- I have 12v sockets at the chart table and in the cockpit so power isnt a problem
- Its possible to get FM radio / bluetooth speakers
........ but can't decide what form factor or how much to spend

Did you look at this one?
