Waterproof 12v switch

I want to put a switch for the compass light in the cockpit. Is IP67 a good enough standard? Maplins sell a (240v) push button switch that would fit and is not expensive. Any other suggestions?

IP67 is protected against submersion up to 1m so you would be in trouble before the switch.
