Waterlock problem, part 2

So, in my ongoing cockpit rebuild saga, I have to move the waterlock to allow room for the new diesel tank. No, the best space for this is down by the gearbox as this is almost the deepest part of the bilge. I assume that:

As long as the pipework is held away from flamable surfaces and secured against vibration, and isn't touching the shaft and gearbox, it's all ok.

It this true?
 
Yes, Assume you are using something like a Vetus waterlock in which case where you are locating is fine. See pages 144/5 of the Vetus catalogue www.vetus.co.uk for schematics of wet exhaust systems and positioning of waterlocks.
