I can unhesitantly recommend this fine emporium to all visiting yachties. It is located on the waterfront (of the Careenage) in Bridgetown, about 5 minutes walk from The Boatyard bar on Carlisle Bay (or you can take the dink into the Careenage, and tie up to the wall just by the restaurant).

This eating establishment has been going strong for about 20+ years now - and the VSOR dixieland jazz band have been playing here every Thursday night since the restaurant first started (and they are all going strong as well!).

I was there last Thursday evening, and had a very nice supper for a very reasonable price, with good sailing company.

If you would like something simpler, many eating places make and sell rotis - think of curried meat and potato wrapped up in a chappatti and you are pretty close. Combine this with a Banks beer and you are talking of food for the gods /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif, for sure.
(The same could be said for flying fish cutters.......)

I cant believe it, I was there that night as well.
What a great evening. dixiland jazz.
We were a table of 8 by the waterfront, but sorry I dident see your yachting shoes to know it was a forumite.

What a coincidence

Did you mean me?
There were just two of us, and we were sitting on the windward side, outside, by the Careenage. We had an early supper and stayed for some of the jazz, but left at about 2100 I think.

You wouldnt have recognised me, no yachting shoes, just scruffy sandals..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Give me a shout next time you are in Bim - the same goes to any other forumites reading this! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

yep great place to chile out. I will be back, but think its best to let the cricket fever pass first. So might miss the next quarter.
