Food is now absolutely dire and way overpriced.
Everyone of 5 crew disappointed with their varied choices.
Unfortunately not many alternatives in the area so plan to cook onboard.

How sad.
Suggest Taps Restaurant next door for good but pricey food, while at the end of the road the Coopers Arms has lotsa atmosphere.

Sadly the Waterfront has really gone downhill. Last time we went their we only stayed for one drink and left. I agree, Taps is good, but more pricey. Last time I looked the Coopers was closed. Glad to hear it is still going. Nice local sort of pub.

Agree about Taps - never had a bad meal there and we ate there weekly when we moored at Shamrock.

It used to have a lovely atmosphere and we had a few amazing evenings there when a slightly mad old lady played the accordian brilliantly to entertain the customers.

Is it still owned by the German guy? (his name escapes me)

Taps changged hands recently. Not been in there yet but I'm told still OK but prices have gone up.
Johua Tree (ex Coppers) now open.
