Unfortunately tied next to boat with water continuosly running from a skin fitting above waterline , steady flow from 20 mm fitting , weed growing around suggested sea water , was doing everyone nuts in all around , on par with wind genny or heating left on all night , was a oyster 72 , couldnt hear a generator , sea water cooled fridge ?

Unfortunately we had to resort to a good ole scottish remedy to make noise acceptable. A good ole swally and singsong :) sorry t all for our noise was all we could do :)

may have been air conditioning or refrigerator cooing water. unoccupied boats in our marina leave the aircons on to keep the boat damp free below some even have a dehumidifier setting on the thermostat for just that task, but the cooling water has to run regardless. we don't leave our air conditioners running 24/7 because it encourages the pipework to calcify and need flushing with descaler too often but others seem not to care. Our refrigerator is air cooled so no running water noises.

It's what those hardwood bungs are for isn't it

All the oysters here do it, it's flipping annoying with half a dozen running on a quiet evening, would be so easy to fit it with an on the waterline outflow which I suspect means there's something of the 'look at what I've got' about it.
