This is going to sound seriously silly I know and I apol. in advance but.... In my Cleopatra the water tank seems to be built into the hull (right at the front) and then pumped into the taps/sink by means of a manual (at the mo.) pump. My question is that is it possible to access the 'top/entry' of this tank by simply removing a round piece of wood that 'sits' on the top. Now....this seems wrong fora few reasons - one it would all slop (read pi5s) all over the place if it was rough and there doesn't seem to be a way of making it safe/nice to drink. Does this seem right to any of you guys?

Hi, I am a member of the Cleo Owners club, the forum is quiet but its worth a post as we have a lot of members who do occasionaly post! I am refurbing an 850 myself, and plan to put a new tank under the saloon floor. I have nothing in my forward cabin, just under bunk storage space.

Thanks all for the info - I have been a bit foolish. It is indeed the water tank - as there is a pipe running from there to the filler on the port side - also the 'lid' that I mentioned is meant to be sealed and screwed down. When I went to have a proper look I noticed strategically placed screw holes around the 'fitting' of the lid. THanks all
