Water tank gauge - which one to buy?

With a sight glass, (cost, next to nothing) it is easy to fill the tank with, say, 20 litres at a time, marking beside the tube as you go. Simple technology, nothing to go wrong.

TBH, would much prefer your suggested route but tank position does not allow that ...
Maybe I've been unlucky, but the two previous electronic gauges I fitted both quickly became unreliable, and were a waste of money. So I've gone back to a sight tube. The position of my tank is awkward, but a sight tube can be arranged anywhere, so long as it's on the same level as the tank.

Otherwise its back to a dip-stick. :(

it's an issue for those of us with long keels and tanks under the sole! Also pricey for guages - I've got six tanks! Though only really bothered about guage for one of the fuel.
