My Centaur bilges recently began to fill [slowly] with fresh water. It seemed that the foot operated pump between the tank and the sink was leaking and so I removed it, and we now rely on the alternative electric pump instead. The removed pump is marked Jupiter Jet Mark 3. It needs some new rubber gaskets and as they are moulded I can't make them out of any sheet material. Does anyone know who can supply such items? It's a fine bit of kit and I'd like to repair it.

I had the same problem on our Konsort. The foot pump was a Whale Galley Gusher Mk 2. For some reason, even with a new seal, I could not stop the Mk 2 leaking when the pressure pump was working.

As that model has been superceded by the Mk 3 - with a better seal - I replaced the 2 with a 3. Now, no leaks.
