What would happen if he took the accumulator out of the circuit, I dont have one on my boat?

if you take out the expansion vessel your pressure relief valve will let by, the diaphram has a hole in it and this is what takes up the expansion, vessel needs replacing, if your water tank is higher than the outlets just turn on the tap, but the shower will be higher

You would get an uneven flow and the pump would constantly cut in and out, with the Jabsco sensor max pumps you can get away with it, stick a new accumulator in and pump up to about 4-6 psi and you will see the difference.
