Water Maker Scaling up with generic of the shelf parts.

I am in the final stages of getting a watermaker implemented. I am looking for a supplier of the teflon cored/stainless/silicone high pressure hose. Can't find anyone locally. Any suggestions?

I had my HP hose made by a a company that does digger pipes , the fittings are SS , 800 psi is nothing when it comes to the pressure these machine need remember to only sea water that's passing through these hoses

Did you use teflon core? Who was your supplier?

We brought it in Malta , it's where we was at the time ,
To be honest I could say if they where teflon or not , Wired R2 hydraulic hose it's what used on HP machiney as in jcb digger , cranes , HP water pipes , they rated for water .
I don't think they need to be any thing special, as I said it's sea water that goes through them only once out the vessels on the product side you want to think about using good quality water pipe , the brine water side you can use any pipe , I just used reinforced plastic pipe .
You can make RO water makers as simply or as complicated as you want , I seen one that does everything for you as well as starting up at a set time .

When I was building my watermaker i was told to spec the HP hose at 2000-3000 psi. System will never see more than 1000psi but it provides a factor of safety and robustness. The hose doesnt cost a lot more for higher pressure. I just had a new s/s braided 1/4 inch hose 2ft long made up in Panama For £44 complete with swivel fittings for 1/4NPT threads.
