Water maker membrane

Anyone know where to buy the ROM membrane and pressure vessel? Spent 2 days searching and failed. Or know what micron value is needed to filter salt? Then I can make my own water maker in an unconventional way. Obtaining the membrane is proving tricky for this www non-savvy oldie. can make the rest via info found on web. Happy to supply links for others if required.

For a UK supplier of reverse osmosis membranes try FILMTEC Reverse Osmosis & Nanofiltration Membrane Elements.
Allwatertech.co.uk have a range of ro products including pressure vessels.
As Eeyore says Dow Filmtec SW30-2521 or SW30-2540 membranes are the most commonly used. The 25 refers to a 2.5 inch diameter membrane. The 21/40 refers to membrane length in inches.
