Watchet or Padstow ?

Wheres everyone going this weekend, I here some motor boaters are going to Padstow from Penarth and some with a more conservative view of the weather are going to Watchet.
Where are you going !

i`v been told im going to Devon by car /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, but Padstow is good at this time of year, theres a few boats from CYC going to join the Mayday celebrations.

A lot of yachts have gone to Padstow from Portishead and the PCC - the 3 who left late last night must have had a great reach when the wind went SE /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif The classic boat Tangaroa has also gone there from Bristol

I'm going to the CYC yard! I will be scaping, grinding, filling, polishing varnishing and doing any other jobs I find while doing those! If anyone is around come and see me, I will be on the Westerly pointing at you when you walk from the clubhouse.

First trip in our new boat this weekend.

Intend to go to Cardiff or maybe Watchet.

I feel the need to explain this

I didn't name the boat.

That's what it came as "Sweet Sensation" and SWMBO tells me its staying.

Mind you that's only cos I told her she had to run round it naked 3 times shouting out the new name, so she said its staying.

Damo launcher her for me. (And didn't drop her either)
He seems to think that a name like that should belong to some rocket ship of some sort.

So, where does the name come from?
Well the previous owner used to have a carpet business. And the final bit of carpet he ever sold was called Sweet Sensation.

And the wife wont let me change it to Mary Hinge....... oh well, Sweet Sensation it is then.

Not to mention talking to anyone and everyone who can help you avoid working on the boat, and drinking in the bar.......

Hope you get it sorted and back on the water soon. We'll be in St Davids, and maybe the boat jumble if the weather turns bad.
