I called an elderly retired friend today and his spritely wife anwered the phone saying "You do'nt want to know what xxxxx is doing at the moment!" Upom enquiring as to whether he was on ra throne or not, she replied I'll let himself tell ye. Well it transpired he was washing his mooring lines with a pressure washer. This was a difficult task as the mooring lines snaked about the empty swimming pool and himself skited ffrom wall to wall on decaying beech leaves. I asked if there was'nt a village laundrette he could try but he was a bit worried that if he overstayed his time in the local whilst they were washing,he would return to find some old dear ironing them.
The question is, what errand do you send the wife on to give you adequate time to wash your lines in the washing machine without her ever becoming aware of it and/or is ironing harmful to warps?
