Was nice to be back on the river yesterday, even if only for a few hours. Been about 2 months since we had any real use due to mums illness. However yesterday my brother came over to our house and stayed with mum (now living with us) so SWMBO could get some well earned respite and I could get a smile back on my face for a few hours.
River was fairly quiet but a good few boats and boaters to chat to at the locks. Sadly we will need to get Tristan out of the water in a week or so. Seems like we only just put her back in.
