Large warship berthed at the Ro-ro dock area in Ipswich yesterday pm, Zeeland by name. Belgian I think. Unfortunately forgot my camera but quite a sight

she now sports a large "stealth" tower with a dome on top, mid-ships

Assuming it was the Dutch warship that was heading up the Orwell on Friday, it has gain a new radar tower since that photo was taken

She or a sister ship was there last year.
We had Bitman of this parish with us that day who comes from clogland.
The crew of the warship were most surprised to be haled in Dutch from a small English yacht.

There is a mention in the East Anglian today in the Ships section.

Says she is an "Ocean Patrol vessel" At least she has a gun unlike our local patrol boat.

I saw her going down river at around 1300 today.
