Warning! Refridgerator Problems.

I can tell you that “professionals“ don’t release, loosing FGas licence, heavy fines and possible jail not worth risk, we have to register gas purchased and log/ report where used and are regularly audited.
also to add, why would you release when you can recover and reuse
Yup, my point exactly! Only total amateurs would release harmful gasses into the atmosphere. As said above, it's the "lob your Mcdonalds bag out of the car window" mentality! I'm glad you are not a nuclear engineer Assassin!! It is not only ILLEGAL but it is immoral too!!! Geezzzz, why does this even have to be debated?:sleep::mad:

Because it's rather delightful watching you lot get the moral humpfs and pout. :ROFLMAO:
It's even more fun watching you trying to justify why you think you can pollute whatever you want, whenever you want even though it's illegal! This is the black water tanks thread all over again isn't it!:ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::poop::poop::poop:

I'm really not trying to justify anything. And no I dont litter and quite the reverse do pick up litter on the beaches I frequent. I just think you're a little over zealous. Black water tanks?

Was the same with the thread where people were digging themselves into a hole about how they were entitled to go to their boat as they didn't see anyone else.

That's a little unfair. This was before lockdown and lockdown rules were established and the boat in question sits on it's own river mooring well away from any marina etc where cross contamination takes place as well as being within walking distance from my house. When you compare it to the allowed leisure and exercise activities it was within remit. Of course that changed when the harbour authorities universally closed down leisure activity.

;) sure. However I will say, when the next pandemic hits and it's something like Ebola, home isolation can suck eggs. My boat is my Armageddon bunker. Nothing isolates better.

Many are different. And until the rules were established that was a single size fits all, could very well have isolated quite adequately. But that's old news, back to the point. Leaving the Ozone depleting refrigerants out of it and sticking with HFC which is non toxic and used in metered aspirator pumps, such as asthma, nitrolingual etc etc and many other common uses apart from refrigeration, is a very low volume of gas leakage really worth getting so indignant about. Sure, absolutely, in large scale, industrial or commercial you need checks and balances but one guy letting out a very small quantity once getting lambasted is a bit OTT. After all how many on this forum have ever let gas out a fridge and how many are ever likely to? People just like to have an indignant moan about some things sometimes and we should allow them to indulge in it. Consider it a service :ROFLMAO:

Some people like to break the law regardless of the size of the crime, should we allow them to indulge in it? The law is the law and your personal view of it is irrelevant. I'm done here, you're boring me now.?

If only you had taken the beer money offered eh? Lesson for you. Better go check all your boat's fire extinguishers. I'll bet you'll find more than a couple that will break your heart
