bloody hell... here goes.. 19th-21st oct, 12:00 start. a few sados, will be meeting in the rain, wind etc. at wareham quay. can i have numbers/requirements please. these should include eating, staying over, and all the other things iv'e forgotten. there maybe another post of the same "ilk" but for the moment just a taster.

i'm gonna blody regret trying to organise this, so please bear with me.

I will be there, or wherever in Poole that weekend.
Happy to take others on boat - up to a family of 4.
Missed the thread building yesterday but I do have reservations over Wareham. Ignoring the costs of berthing @ Dolphin Haven I would seriously suggest that Poole Quay is a better place to berth/base and permits visitors from the solent or Christchurch an overnight stay in relative comfort.
Bad weather will probably result in only a few boats - wareham fine but anything remotely reasonable will get too many and, I really think that any raggies that with to join in should be welcomed - again making the quay saturday night a favorite.
Maybe we look at wareham saturday lunchtime and thePoole Quay saturday night giving everybody options to join in with either or both!

Awl...go on then. I'll be there. I'll even bring a boat with me!

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!

still come for a nite out if yer want.. i can't use my boat either. but then i live here!

a few beers and maybe a meal in the italian?

what do you fancy..?

italian on the quay can cater for us if required.
black bear has 16 rooms available! if you need to book 01929 553339.
unfortunately no one's interested in giving us free beer!

regards,steve.

I'll be there, with boat, and at least a daughter, assuming anything less than force 12. Probably need to leave before about 3:30pm before tide starts to drop too much, unless staying the night. Have to phone the Black Bear. I'm up for lunch in the Itlaian if everyone else wants to.

ok, i live her so a lift should'nt be a problem.. don't know about others? how are you getting from christchurch to wareham.? assume by boat, is this the case?

regards, steve.

just red through your post again, and yes i agree. so far we have barryh, brendans, and yourself with boats. me, forbsie, leytonc without so at the moment it doesn't look to be a problem. if theres something iv'e missed drop me a PM.

cheers,steve.

OK, put me down as a possible.. need to check diary, as another club has meet around then and I can possibly go on someone elses boat. Nightex, lots of fun. I'll let you know.

Don't get me started!

Regal said they'd fix it under hull warranty within days of me reporting to dealer and emailing pics of crack

Dealer has spent two months doing nothing. Finally got fed up. name of person to talk to at Regal from owners forum, and received email within 24 hours saying they would deal with me direct under the circumstances. PBO forum has provided me with names of repairers today, and quotes within days . Love the boat, Regal have been fantastic with what they've done for me previously, just the dealers who are complete gits.

Rumours that you're thinking of going raggie...this true?

Found you all at last, and without my day skipper training!

Well I'm up for it, I have a wedding late Saturday afternoon in Lymington, can you send me times, I would like to meet up with you all if I have time on the Saturday.

As I said I have bought a boat but it is in storage until March 2003. Wouldn't mind a few beers though, as long as I can stand for the hymns at the wedding!!

I'm staying with friends in Christchurch, if the wedding is crap I'll come to the Italian.

Cheers,

Pete

No, It will have to be by car. I am visiting people there and i would have

hi pete, the plan is that we meet up saturday PM have a chat/beer. see how it pans out, some are stopping over for the night so we'll probably make an evening of it, have a meal in the italian etc. just chilling really... unless anyone wants to do anything else?

at the moment there's seven or eight, but only two are bringing boats, so shouldn't be a problem.

nearer the time, next week, i'll have a ring round/send out PM's to do a final check, so keep checking the site!

regards, steve.
