Wareham Quay - depth? bottom?

The bottom is pretty soft and low water springs you'll be lucky to have a foot of water but on a high you should have 6 to 8 feet approx. If you come up the river an hour or so before first high water you should be able to stay until second high ( but not a second longer cos when it goes it goes!! ) The shallowest bit will be near the Priory Hotel stay as close to the moored boats as you can. Tides are about 1 hour later than Poole Quay... cheers Iain

No problem with getting there, you go in and out on the tide, but you might have to fight your way in to get next to the quay, in case you have to lean.
Ridge Wharf boat yard 01929 552650 or Redclyffe Yacht Club 01929 551227 might give you more definative info.

PS Wareham Quay:
1st HW 5 mins
2nd HW 1Hr 15mins
LW 25 mins
later than Poole Quay

We stayed at Redcliffe last year....we were on a trot just in front of the clubhouse. We stayed afloat all night. They were very welcoming and friendly, good showers and toilets and it is only a 10min walk into the town.
