Wanted: Samsung TV 4010 19inch, ultra thin, secondhand or surplus stock

I'm posting this longshottishly in the hope someone might know how "surplus stock" of electronic goods is traded in Uk or europe.

I'm searching for two TVs for the new boat build project -Samsung 4010, 19 inch version, in white. Full model name is Samsung UE19D4010NW and it's on their website. http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE19D4010NWXXU

For various reasons the boat has been built to take these TVs but we've just discovered Samsung have discontinued the model. After much internet searching I can't find any in stock. None on eBay/Gumtree, not even secondhand but maybe that's because this is quite a new model of TV and people wont be getting rid of them yet.

The reason I want this model is that it is ultra thin. Only 29.9mm. The replacement models are 40mm thick (or more) and only in black.

So does anyone know a way to get these TVs please? Anyone know any insiders at Samsung or anyone who deals with their surplus stock or whatever? Anyone have one of these? - if yes I'll buy you a new Samsung TV or whatever you fancy (bigger? 22 inch?) if you'll swap with me :).

I need these in the next week or so, otherwise we'll have to abandon this and tweak the boat to fit something else
 
Thanks MrB. Alas they're same as 100s of other retailers - it is still listed on their website but they have no stock and cannot get any more from Samsung Big Warehouse

Is it definitely the 19 you're after? When we talked about this on Vega the other day, that white 4010 tv we used to preview certain apparently-controversial videos is the 22" model (which is still available).

Thanks Jimmy. Yup, that's already my plan B. Argos have 30 or so in stock. Thing is, it's 40mm thick and I want 30mm... :-)

Yes, definitely 19inch needed, not 22. They're for the twin cabins and I want them tucked away.

Thanks E. I already looked at Ubaldi et al online and searched using google.fr, and they don't have any. I also tried Irish retailers and google.ie but still no luck!

Aaaarrgh! My mistake. Thanks Nick. I misread the model number in JtB's post above (my head is a bit spinning with Samsung model numbers) and that is indeed the correct TV. Thanks loads JtB!. For some reason it is shown on RS website as availalbe only in store so I've just called my local store in the City and they have 3 of them. Hurrah! So I've bought two.

The RS ones are grey not black, which I prefer. But now I have 3 of these blimmin TVs, cos I bought the black one on Amazon as well. So, erm, anyone want a black super slim TV, BNIB :-) :confused::o:o:o

Crew cabin? Or better still, nail the black one to the radar tower stbd side and use it to display courtesy flags?
