wanted evinrude carb

I have a problem with my evinrude 14hp worktwin engine severely over fuelling,
Engine runs but chokes itself to death within minute or so,
Any adjustment to the air screw does nothing.
Have fitted a complete overhaul kit but problem persists.
Does anyone have access to a replacement carb for this engine as thats the only option left to try before I confine it to the scrap heap which would be a shame as it pumps water well ,gears are fine and compression seems fine.
The original omc part ref was 391814 but I beleive this was subsequently changed.

Sorry I can't help with a carb,but are you aware of "leeroy's ramblings" website? It mostly covers the smaller omc engines but I seem to remember some usefull info on 14 hp outboards as well.
If you hav'nt already visited the site it might be worth a look.
