I don't agree. The name will attract attention (rude things do). I also like the association (while not too confrontational) between the name of our association and our feelings towards those who presume to charge for having done sod all, thereby capitalising on our activity or need for safe haven.

Let it stand I say, its probably the name that has attracted attention thus far.

Tiggertoo's logo works as well.

Since a lot of us were about in the sixties and seventies, why not go back to the good old protest tactic a mass anchor in at some deserving location. It could be a variation on the usuall forum get together.

I'm dead keen to use that logo... but I think we will have to integrate it into a picture or other graphic that can fill that slot, the blog doesnt give that much control.... Do you have a nice long horizontal anchoring pic that you could fade out to the right and put the logo in??

Or can we get someone to build/comeup with / WHY a better platform that will allow a customised front page with...???

I will have a closer look to see how we could use the graphic....

Get posting I am relying on you to put up some good anchorages!
 
I ceertainly do not disagree, the whole name and idea was actually just a bit of fun that I thought no one would take seriously... I do not want to have it sound too serious... my feeling is that we need to have some fun here, and that should be reflected in the name....

Post some suggestions for a name change either on the site or here... I am open to ideas!

There is already a suggestion that we might look at the whole south coast, maybe others will want to do stuff wider still...

I think that you should form a comittee to explore thepossibilites... you may also wish to examine the possibility of organising this on a cell basis.... possibly with a more agressive sort of sub name such as.. The Real Wanca's or something ....
