Navigation info ref Walton Bridge :
Contractors report Tuesday 9th April for two weeks,temporary navigational changes to the river around Walton Bridge.
The closure of the east navigational channel for the week Tuesday 8th April to Tuesday 16th April.
The closure of the west navigational channel for the week Tuesday 16th April to Tuesday 23rd April.
These partial closures will be in effect 24 hours a day with the change taking place at 8am to create
a safety exclusion zone for lifting operations over the river. River navigation will always be maintained
throughout these times.
