Walton Bridge works - restrictions

EA advise that river restrictions in the area of Walton Bridge will continue into March

During different phases of the construction there will be navigation restrictions to either the Shepperton or Walton arches of Walton Bridge.
Due to the adverse weather conditions, which have caused delays to construction, the navigation restrictions will now be required into March.

Road decking nearly joined up to both sides. Big crane now being carted away, and river breaking the speed limit beneath!!

RIVER CLOSURE - Walton Bridge
Between Shepperton and Sunbury Locks
Wednesday 13 February 2013 – 10.00 to 14.00

 Closures will be in place on the above times and dates for safety reasons whilst the contractors are lifting structures across the river. The contractors will be installing a pair of form work sections in the middle of the bridge span.
 There are planned contingency dates which are:
Thursday 14 February 2013 – 10.00 to 14.00
Friday 15 February 2013 – 10.00 to 14.00
If these contingency dates are required we will issue a further notice.
