I need to replace an area of wallpaper inside a cupboard used for storing foodstuff. at present it appears to be a type of blown vinyl. but in searching the net i cannot find a specific product for boat use.
any suggestions? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Years ago we made a headlining for a camper van from hardboard covered in vinyl wallpaper. It lasted for years and always looked good.

However, if you want the real thing look at the Toomer and Hayter range, for 'mural mousse'. No doubt it will cost you more than vinyl wallpaper but its thermal properties will be considerably better.

How about cork tiles? would reduce condensation too. I have them lining a cupboard space behind my switch boxes to stop condensation dripping onto the conections (12v and 240 in there). Seems to work and looks ok. Failing that Robbins do a nice crown cut saplele veneer on a flexible backing sheet that you can stick on with contact adhesive for about £36 for a 8 X 4 sheet.

Thank that's a great help, i just browsed on their web site and requested a sample as there were no images for the mural mousse. it sounds like that may be what is on already but its pricey as you said.
