Wall mounted flat screen tvs for boats 240v/12v

TV and DVD seem to be popular this afternoon, nothing else to do ? Come round here SWMBO will find you plenty to do - grass needs cutting, windows need a clean, water the plants, hoover the carpit etc. Little wonder we go to the boat at the weekend. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Oki doki
So in that case I can just buy one from dixons or somewhere for £ 300 with built in dvd and 12 v connection wall mount it
and use shore power when i have it and 12v when not
is that right or am i being a bit tick here

[/ QUOTE ]Be very careful as some 12V equipment is actually 12V NOT 14.8V (or more) as shoved out by your alternator or smart charger.

I bought one of THESE two weeks ago. It works well and runs off of 12v, even worked when the battery indicator on the boat was only showing 10.6v. It's nice a neat having the DVD built into the monitor. Looks like I got a bargain cause it was only £159 when I bought it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

98W though...

Surely he needs one of these HERE . 'Only' 50W too.

It would go nicely with a traditional boat. I think they are working on a wood/brass display, with paraffin backlight, too.
