Should we not go SWMBO will allow me the choice of which JATH* I get to do.

Went to East Farleigh. Cleared up nicely just as we left moorings.Bit nippy over night but glorious sunshine on Sunday. More rubbish in river up around New Hyhe to Allington than can remember for a long time.
That land speculator also has manged to flog off another few metres more of river bank just above Tovil..
The new "homesteader" has assembled the usual ramshackle unsightly collection of scaffold poles, decking planks and blue plastic oil drums,to provide a landing stage to moor his boat.
Pretty sure that no permanent structures can be erected and securing the new landing stage to the river bank has to be limited to a few mooring stakes.
Not sure about the picket fence which has been put up to keep people walking the right of way footpath of his adjacent land.
All in all a nice trip and probably the penultimate of the season.
Last trip will be the club cruise to Allington during November.
Lock staff as ever were excellent.:)

We've just had some astronomically high tides which has brought a lot of debris up here and probably will account for a lot of it.

Season....what is this season you speak of
The Season..
All Thames boaters are familar with this phrase,it defines the dates between which you return from your winter tax exile base in The BVI via the UK on your way to Cloisters for little light apres ski before popping down to the gite near Nice or ones estate in Tuscany for the late summer.
This would usually coincide with either Henley or the flower show at Hampton Court..:)
