Anyway, So far today, I've had 90 emails infected with this worm.

Anyone else getting the same?

What virus checker are you using. Nothing has ever got through the macafee I'm using.

Our computers at work was infected this morning with the virus. If you log onto www.Symantec.com you can download the fix for this worm. We are all clear now.

I'm using Norton, which upgraded itself yesterday morning, so it hasn't got through to the PC.

I'm just amazed at the number of infected emails, I've received today, and wonder where they're coming from.

My email box was full of these things this morning, Symantec (Norton) killed each one before it did any harm.

Interestingly half of them looked as if addressed from my own website, so my guess is that the virus is trawling the web to find email addresses. In case you haven't seen the latest advice, don't open any attachments, this propagates the virus, just delete on sight. The lot I got had message titles like 'test' 'hi' 'updates'. It was fairly obvious which they were. Apparently, the target is to flood a software manufacturer called SCO with loads of emails from 1st to 28th February, thus stopping them doing business.

Just spoke to myISP and they reckon this is now hitting over 10% of users and propogating at over 2 million emails a minute.worldwide ...god knows when it will stop but mailwasher is helping me sort em b4 they reach my machine. Over 300 waiting for me when i booted up this morning!

I work on virus protection of Exchange mail systems, this virus, also known as W32/MyDoom.A is hitting everyone, get your virus guards up to date and you will be okay. For some strange reason Norton decided to name it Novarg

Our servers right now have around 17,000 MyDoom messages hitting our UK gateways and the US gateways are now down! it is really giving me a headache!!! This is the second wave of attacks, even though we are stopping the messages our servers are getting overloaded.... I wish people who make these virus's would just roll over and die......
