Have a Vtronix hawk vhf masthead antenna (the type that combines a wind direction indicator).
I'm replacing the coax up the mast this winter, and want to replace the little plug (socket) that joins the coax to the antenna. Its a threaded socket type that intersects the pin iside the base of the antenna. The socket is crimped to the braid of the coax.
Any ideas where I can get one?

If its like the one on my Hawk, the little metal bit at the very end of the cable with a hole in the centre is not crimped on. It simply unscrews from the cable. It is reusable on new cable. I thought mine was crimped on and bought a replacement which I discovered I did not actually need.

Instructions below also has part number on it ACC158

I got my replacement from Foxs in Ipswich which is not a lot of use for you but they might pop one in the post for you.

From Vtronix (AkA Communication Aerials) perhaps? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

They sent me one so that I could use my existing coax with a new antenna.
Something like £1.50's worth of stamps if I remember correctly.
