Hello all.
New guy here and first post
I have a Volvo penta2003t and I believe my alarm control unit was a faulty
My oil gauge reads max until the engine runs. The oil pressure alarm doesn't work. I think I've narrows it down to the printer circuit controller.
Does anyone know where I can buy one from please
Many thanks
Gavin.

Welcome to the Forum

ITYWF the oil pressure gauge operates independently of the electronic alarm module. Your fault suggests that maybe either the gauge or the sensor has been changed and an incorrect part fitted.

Re the oil pressure alarm . You don't say if it is the warning light not working correctly or the audible alarm or both.

However to offer an answer to your question. I believe Keypart can supply genuine VP Logic control units for the alarm module, but at £330 You need to be absolutely sure of your diagnosis before spending that sort of money

Thank you for your reply
Yes the 2 terminal sender had one for gauge and one for alarm. The alarm side does not work meaning no light and no buzzer but I have tested the sender and is fine. I have temporary overused it by fitting a seperate buzzer which works.
The gauge reads maximum when ignition is on then turns to normal pressure when running so I think this is a seperate fault maybe from the loom somewhere.
