VP TMD41.

Be very careful in regard to heat exchangers and especially the anodes. If these have not been properly maintained then the galvanic corrosion wrecks the brass components, and these are now increasingly difficult and uber expensive from VP.

Personally I will quite happy to never own Volvo Pentas ever again.

What are these engines like for reliability and spares etc?
Had my TAMD41 for 8 years, is is from 1999, and is excellent. No problems and service parts reasonable price, particularly if you use non OEM branded. They come in 41A version up to 41P (not all letters in between) later ones, certainly the P, do not have anodes in the cooling system.
