VP D2-40: Fuel bleed screw washer dimensions?

Does anyone know the dimensions of the fuel bleed screw copper washer on a VP D2-40.
Or would I be better off replacing the Copper Washer with a Fibre / Nylon Washer?

I would measure it but the boat is in Greece and it’s something I forgot to do before we left.

Sounds like you need part 16: Volvo Penta 23 Fuel System | Fuel Filter and Feed Pump D2-40, D2-40B, D2-40F | Volvopentashop.com

If that's the washer you mean, just order a couple from your nearest Volvo agent. Not sure why you need a new one, perhaps it leaks, but it's not something that needs replacing often.

In Australia if they put a Part No. on it and put it into stock the price would jump from (say) 2 cents/washer to something ridiculous like $4.59 per washer!:rolleyes:

I’ve ordered the fuel bleed washers along with seals and bearing for the raw water pump from Simply Bearings (Washers are £3 /5pcs =60p each, incl vat and delivery).
