VP 61A Fuel Lines

Hi, a survey i have just had done has highlighted that although not currently a problem, i need to keep an eye on the fuel lines and will most likely have to change them, engines are 2 x TAMD 61A engines. Can anyone advise who is best to get them from

We have the same engines. What fuel lines do you refer to ? Or what fuel lines were picked up on ?
You mean the HP lines from the pump to the injectors, LP lines from tank or anything in between through the primary or secondary filters ?
The former are hard piped lines with banjo fittings etc. The latter are occasionaly variable depending on the boat.

The same thing showed up in my survey. They recommended that the low pressure flexible fuel lines should be changed. They are a standard VP part and my local dealer said he can supply them but the are not cheap.
I think ASAP do some also.

The volvopenta ones are silly money .
You need 10mm Vetus hose ISO 7840 walled hose which is also suitable for inland waterways BSS certification.
You can use the existing metal unions, just cut off the crumped unions to reveal the hose tail and union, use double hose clips . Job done .
