Hello,

since this summer I'm the happy owner of a Trident Marine Voyager 35. I'm wondering if there are more people on this forum who have the same boat (or a Challenger or Warrior). It is hard to find information and I would enjoy an exchange of ideas with fellow owners. Mine is from 1979 and powered by a Mercedes OM 636.

Kind regards,
Sebastian

A very late reply, but I too this summer ( '23 ) have bought a Voyager 35, with the intention of living aboard with lots of travelling. Do you still own her ?

Nice yachts, tough as old boots. I sailed a Warrior 40 from the Canaries to Antigua and back. Comfortable and safe, I reckon. I took 2 crew each way, they enjoyed it.

Only had one snag, the exhaust elbow on the engine blew a hole in it. Bit of a pain, but I fixed it in Horta. Volvo iirc.

Enjoy your sailing, I think they make good live on yachts too.

The 35's (Warrior/Challenger/Voyager) were a very different design to the 40s.
We did have a Trident Challenger 35; but when we got locked out of New Zealand by Covid, we sold it remotely to a local.

We have had a Challenger 35 for almost 25 years now, although for various reasons she is now laid up ashore.
I have a Trident marine catalogue - here is some info on Voyagers :

Hello.
I have had a Warrior 40 since 2006. Mainly sailed single handed including two Biscay crossings without a second's concern. Any other owners who might want to share info? I've had several updates and repairs and such that might be of interest to be shared?
Good fortune to all.

Congratulations! Yes, I do still own her and live aboard. Very happy with the boat.

Thank you, I do. And I think it's great live aboard boat too.

I sure would like to share info, but mine is a Voyager 35...

I bought a Voyager 35 in 2009. She had been completed to the owner's spec for ocean cruising with double spreader cutter rig, a platform bowsprit, large built in tanks, insulation above the bilges, etc. displacing a couple of tons more than the standard boat. Worked well as a live aboard for six months or so a year in northern waters.
While in Denmark we berthed next to a standard Voyager 35 and had difficulty convincing the owner that they were the same hulls and deck mouldings.
