Following an incident with a hungry propeller Paul has rebuilt both my outdrive legs replacing all the seals etc. cleaned them out, reset the gear selection and even replaced several additional parts in order to bring them back to tip-top condition.
With all of this he completed everything bang on time, kept me informed at every step of the way, consulted when parts needed to be replaced and moved mountains to get them set up just right. He even answered all my calls and by golly he's knowledgeable.
After all that, the price charged was very fair, certainly I'm happy.
So from me it’s a 10.
On top of that he's a really nice guy!

Yes but keep it a bit quiet otherwise you will never get a time slot from him to service your boat Paul good luck in Somerset (IIRC) this weekend

How disappointing to hear that, he'll give the rest of the industry a bad reputation if he keeps that up. Job done on time and on budget? Sounds like he needs some training in customer disrelations.

I've also had many really bad experiences with marine engineers so good to hear......
