My boat is out of the water after grounding on the Barrow Sands--another tale. Taking opportunity to do a few mods, and would like to swop to a 3 bladed prop. Looking at survey it describes a 2 bladed right handed prop......Boat spec from assoc talks of a left handed prop. How do i ascertain which it is ? Also I have been told of Norris props in Isleworth who by their website seem pretty good, but anyone know of anyone else in Medway or Sth London ? Thanks

Put prop on ground with engine site of the hub down. Whichever foot you can then stand on the blade with determines whether its a left or Right hand prop. Sounds daft but it works.

Looking from astern, which way does the propshaft turn when going ahead?
Clockwise => righthand
anticlock => lefthand

Which way does your boat "kick" when attempting to go astern?
To PORT => righthand
To S'board => lefthand

Concur with the previous comments......T.H. Norris in Isleworth ....very , very helpful & exceeding competetive....tell them what Engine/gearbox u have, and they will tell you what hand prop...W/L, weight, and speed....tell you size.. HTH Tony W.
