Hi Guys

I managed to find a workshop manual for my MD 2040 engine thanks to the forum, but the one I downloaded is missing pages 58 and 59!! I found another site on the internet but that is also missing these pages. The manual covers the 2020-30-40 series.

Any one out there got the missing pages????

Yes, I'm in the process of changing the primary fuel filter and wanted to check if the bleed screw on the secondary filter had a fibre washer (or some other washer)! These pages cover probably one of the few jobs the boat owner will do himself.

Anyone got an original paper copy of the manual that can be scanned in??

...but then conspiricy theories aside, did pages 58 and 59 exist at all? Is my leaking primary fuel filter just a figment of my imagination? I'll go down to the boat today to check!

I think that the orginal web copy is actually scanned from my copy that I bought from Volvo Penta (that I lent to someone before I get sued!). On reading your post I immediately checked my copy at home, and sure enough those pages are missing. I need to check the orginal copy which is on the boat to see what is there - I will post an answer as soon as I find out.
 
I have found the missing pages in my printed version of the workshop manual but because they are from an earlier version the page numbers are not the same.
i have scanned these pages but cannot seem to show them on here so will try PM ing them to you
 
PVB - thanks, I put a copper one on and it is now fine.
