Volvo TMD41A

I have 2 TMD41A motors and would like to know the injection pump timing angle. I have alot of white smoke on start up and when running cold. It is less after it warms and under load, I have all the dater for the TMD41B, TMD41D and L and the plunger lift measurement varies from 1.4 to 1.8mm. Ther is no data in the manual for the A.Injectors new and both engines exactly the same.

Yes, they do that. Search some of the old threads on here, many have tried but no one (that I'm aware of) has found a cure!

The A 41 always smokes on start up nothing you can do about it, does it have the exhaust flap restrictor ? Is it working?
