Does anyone have the TAMD61A technical data file, please? I want to know the TAMD61A injector opening pressure setting. I only have the 63, 74 and 75 series data. Is the TAMD61A opening pressure the same as 63L-A? Or do you know the opening pressure setting for TAMD61A? Please let me know.

The reason I needed it is because I reconditioned all my injectors and I can adjust them to any pressure as I have a whole set of shims. I found those injectors can work properly from 3000 psi to 4300 psi or even higher. Just wanted to set them to the Volvo original setting may be better for engine performance.

I’ve got one on a memory stick somewhere. I’d need to dig it out though. But I also know that the injector on the 61a is the same as the 63, 71 and 72. As far as I know anyway

Yes, they are the same injector body but a little different setting for the opening pressure to optimise the engine performance.
 
If that document was ever found, might I request it as well? Current have the injectors out and would like to review so I can verify their pressures. Thank you in advanced.

I appreciate those. It confirms I have the right documents for that those cover. Unfortunately there is one document that doesn’t seem to be available or is very had to find. It’s a workshop manual like those you linked to but it specifically labeled ‘Workshop Manual Technical data’.

It’s referenced in the WM Fuel System publication to check injector pressures when they are pop tested.

I found the correct technical data document for the 61A! Searched high and low and finally got my hands on one. Just wanted to share it here in case anyone else needs it.
