I have a pair of TAMD41A engines, recently I have overhauled the exhaust flap solenoids, fitted new exhaust hose and also thoroughly overhauled heat exchangers and intercoolers.
however, I can't complete the elbows, one of the flaps has gone missing! I assume out the back of the boat
. so although the shaft operates nicely it does nothing.
If anybody has a rubbish elbow with a flap I can dissect or indeed a decent elbow complete they wish to sell drop me a line please.
alternatively, if anybody has a flap for a pattern to save trying to take apart the other side that would be great, I am sure it could be made. I think it is stainless plate.
