Volvo Tacho Display Replacement

I know a number of people have replaced this display getting one from boatstuff.se but have had some issues paying them. I see that that what appears to be the same unit is now available in the UK from yacht boat parts.

Has anyone any experience of either, and could recommend which way to go? The UK one seems to be more expensive.

I can't see a part number but it appears to be part no. A2C00065115 or a direct equivalent so it's the right part.

I bought mine from boatstuff.se over a year ago and i am very happy with it. There was a proplem with ordering from their website outside of Sweden but when i emailed them i got a quick and efficient solution.

In fact, their web page says "For orders outside of Sweden please send an email to info@boatstuff.se. Do not place order here"

I’m sure you’ve read all the threads - but just in case - I was on the verge of replacing mine - needle was erratic and occasionally stuck. Hours meter not visible. Boat 18 years old and assume tachometer was original fit (not sure).
Removed from boat, took home and placed on window cill above a central heating radiator for 5 months or so, reinstalled - and has worked perfectly for two years since then.
Worth a try?
