For the second season the screws holding the anode in place on my saildrive leg had come undone leaving the anode to rattle freely behind the prop, and without electrical contact.

Do you have any advice on how to keep the screws in place?
Thanks,
Tim

I had this happen as well. It appears to happen when the zinc around the screw holes erode away. Rattled like hell - thought a bearing was going!!! I solved this by using that stuff that insulates different metals (a yellow gunge) for the screws, and now rely on the contact from the back surface of the anode to the saildrive. (I make sure the contact is very good!!! So far so good. If it starts rattling you may want to change it asap as it is no longer protecting the saildrive...
