Volvo Penta VDO Technik Tachometer

Sorry for reviving this old thread, but it was extremely helpful to a point.
I am trying to replace the LCD on a similar Tachometer VDO N 02 012 133.
The instruction for disassembling the unit where very close to my unit only with a little more persuasion in certain places.
I am just wondering has anyone worked on this specific model and can you advise on a replacement Display for it ? Also how to get the old Display out as it seems to be well stuck in place.
