Volvo Penta TAMD61A engine starter motor alarm not working need help

It had alarm previously after engine started to remind me release the key to stop the starter motor operation. But now this alarm not working. Any idea what is wrong?

I had these engines and never had an alarm telling me to release the key.
I could be that you had a fault the the alarm came on when starting and now you don’t

I have TAMD 61 A on my T36 and there is an alarm that sounds when you turn the key from off to start.As soon as the engine starts it goes off.

Similar on my ad31. Alarm sounds when key turned to "On" and sounds for about 5 seconds after start up, until oil pressure comes up to spec. I think as has been suggested, you had an issue beforehand, as opposed to having one now. Did you change your oil or filter lately?

Thanks. Back to normal today. Looks like a bad cable connection.
This alarm function come with the boat which mentioned in the manual.
