Hey guys I have a princess 35 flybridge 1988 and when out today I had a electrical power issue on idle my voltage meter runs at 14v but when I go over 1500 rpm my gauge start jumping around and going down the more the revs goes up and this always makes my tachometer jump about as well so my thoughts where alternator so I put the meter on it and getting 14v so I’m abit confused just now.

Any advise would be great thanks in advance.

Regards
Marty

Faulty alternator or loose earth cable

My thoughts as well and it explains why the tachometer jumping as well as it runs off the alternator I’m heading away back to work for few weeks so will update when come back when I can get at it again.

Thanks
